the CHAM DANCE

The fashion film reimagines the ancient Buddhist Cham Dance—an act of purification and transformation—in a contemporary key. Inspired by monks’ masked rituals, it explores growth, diversity, and self-awareness, where each figure embodies uniqueness within collective harmony. Filmed inside a cave, the setting evokes both sacred ritual and primal spirituality, amplifying the garments’ forms against raw, elemental textures. With hypnotic ritual music, fragmented editing, and the organic grain, the work fuses art, design, and performance into a timeless, immersive visual experience.
